San Fransisco Marathon

Hey y’all! I’m so excited to be heading to San Francisco in September for the marathon weekend! I will be racing the 5k and cheering everyone else on in the longer races. The course for ALL of the races is gorgeous and has water views! I went to San Francisco a few years ago and I ran where part of the course goes, and to this day, it is one of my favorite runs. Also, the weather in San Francisco is always amazing, the high is in the upper 60s to low 70s, and the low is in the mid 50s. It is honestly a runner's dream. Another reason I am so excited is because of the amazing food! I am a huge foodie, and there are so many good options around that I can’t wait to try. There are also lots of fun things to do and sightseeing. Walking the Golden Gate Bridge has some of the most amazing views. You can have a picnic in the park, walk around, or even rent a bike. If you are looking for some more nature, you can make a short drive to the Muir Woods where you have miles upon miles of beautiful hikes. Last time I was there we did the Dipsea trail which led us straight to a beautiful beach. You can check out the trail here. If you are into history, you can do the Alcatraz tour. There are a lot of museums and aquariums that the kids will enjoy as well. You can even take an hour drive and be in wine country. There is literally something to do and enjoy for everyone.

San Francisco is truly a beautiful city, full of good people, good views, good food, good weather, and lots of things to do! What more could ya ask for?!
