FRIENDS (the TV show) Party
Hi Friends! Thanks for being here with me :)
This is my first blog post. WOW I can’t believe I am writing that! This is something I have wanted to do for awhile now, and now I am! I won’t get into why it took me so long, fears, etc. I will save that for another time. Today I wanted to share my Friends themed Halloween party with y’all! Yes this was a Halloween party, but you can have a FRIENDS themed party for literally any event (birthday, bachelorette party, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.) I have been planning this party in my mind for quite some time. Specifically since October of 2019 when I found out Halloween was on a Saturday. I decided I am going to have an epic FRIENDS themed Halloween party! Well as you know.. 2020 didn’t go quite as planned as we thought it would. I was determined to still have my party though :) It wasn’t quite as big as I was expecting, but it went REALLY well and I decided to still go all out with the details. And that is what I am going to share with you today!
Costumes- So the original plan before some friends had to cancel because of COVID was to have everyone dressed up as one of the Friends characters from the halloween party that the Friends had. We got 3 of the 6 though. I dressed as Monica aka Cat Women, my husband was Chandler aka pink bunny rabbit, and our friend was Ross aka Spudnic, or as the Friends called him Doody.
Rosses Spudnic - Not much to link here lol! We used a piece of cardboard and black marker for the potato, and foil for the antennas.
Sadies Shirt- It says “Your my lobster!”
Serving platters- I was told that I was actually being like Monica for this party, as in very particular about things! I like all my serveware to match. I love white and anything with the farmhouse look. My favorite brand is MudPie!
All serving trays, bowls, plates, etc that I used
Decorations- This is one of my favorite parts! The decorations is what really made the party come together. We had backdrops, balloons, plates, napkins, cups, and even some Friends themed games set up. For the drinking cups, I purchased black solo cups and decorated them with Friend themed stickers.
Friends themed food signs- I made these and a working on getting downloadable PDF’s, but in the meantime, email me if you are interested in purchasing these signs.
Friends picture frame- Same thing as the food signs, I made them and am working on getting a downloadable PDF. Email me if interested in purchasing one.
Alright, thats a wrap! I had A LOT of fun preparing for this party, and we are actually leaving up our decor and having a FRIENDSgiving! Can’t wait to share some more with y’all! Here are a few pictures from the party!
